If you want a program that goes at a slower pace and don't mind waiting a little longer for results, this can be the choice for you. Learn to adjust your appetite switch, and, good news, that switch does more than lower your appetite. It also revs up your metabolism and gets you to want to exercise. Imagine that! Sign up quick, and you get two bonus gifts:
Your group will meet twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday, in the evening on the east side of the US, and late afternoon on the west side. You'll learn all the important skills that will make your group safe and effective. You will also begin immediate research on your own body, but you will be going at a slower pace than the regular SOAR program, so your first eating change won't occur until the fourth week. We'll provide some of your first forms, but you will need to purchase How to Make Almost Any Diet Work by Anne Katherine in order to have access to all of the tools and assignments your group will use.
I promise I won't take any of your favorite foods away from you! Other features
*Since this is SOAR Light, you will do best if you augment your regularly twice-a-week sessions with additional meetings with your group (without Anne being present.) You may schedule these extra meetings for any time that works for you and your group members. To make this work, plan to take more initiative in doing your body research between group meetings. The program lasts 4 months (16 weeks) to allow for the the more leisurely pace of SOAR Light.
